As an artist I have the gift of appreciation for the things around me, be they formed through nature or man-made. There is a rhythm to the world. There is beauty in the colors of rust on a subway wall as there is to the pattern of a seashell rolling in the surf. In my art, I explore my surroundings as an observer always wanting to know more.
